Gelatinous phase

They are a kind of lumps or curd that are obtained in the final stages of the boar's ejaculation. It is a fraction of the ejaculate very poor in spermatozoa, and it has the function of creating a kind of plug in the cervix once the ejaculation has ended in order to avoid the entry of microorganisms that could infect the womb taking advantage of the fact that the cervix is open.
