Work Experience:

2015 – Present – Pork Veterinary Solutions, LLC and Swine Veterinary Services, PC

Associate. Interact with clinic’s clientele, ranging from 50 sow farrow to finish operations up to 10,000 sow units and integrated grow-finish operations.  Coordinate health programs, participate in clinical studies, and analyze production parameters to maximize profitability and sustainability of clients.

2013 – Boehringer-Ingelheim Vetmedica, INC and Iowa State University

Swine Veterinary Internship Program – Participated and completed a research project, looking at the risk of PRRS transmission from livehaul vehicles.  Wrote and submitted a paper for the 2013 AASV Annual Meeting and presented at the 2014 AASV meeting, as well as the 2014 IPVS Congress.

2012 – Murphy-Brown LLC

Veterinary Project Manager – completed a research project identifying hypocalcemia in farrowing sows.  Presented a poster and abstract at the 2013 AASV meeting.
