André Felipe Streck graduated in Veterinary Medicine from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (Brazil, 2006); he has a Master degree in Veterinary Sciences from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (Brazil, 2009), specialization in Theoretical and Practical Foundations in Bioinformatics from Fundação Osvaldo Cruz (Brazil, 2009), Doctor degree in Veterinary Sciences from University of Leipzig (Germany, 2013), and a post-doctorate from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (Brazil, 2015).  

He is Adjunct Professor at the University of Caxias do Sul, acting as professor in the Veterinary Medicine Course, professor in the Graduate Program in Animal Health and professor in the Graduate Program in Biotechnology. He is coordinator of the Veterinary Medicine Course and coordinator of the Graduate Program in Animal Health. He has national and international scientific publications in the area of veterinary microbiology and genetics, with a focus on veterinary virology.
