Francesc Illas

He was born in Blanes in 1983, the son of a family of fishermen, and he always was clear about his place in the agricultural/livestock field. He graduated from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine/Science of the UAB in 2006 and studied an MSc degree in Pig Production and Health at the UdL, UCM, UAB and the University of Saragossa in 2010. He currently is a resident at the ECPHM since 2016.

He started his career as as pig nutrition technician at Rettenmaier Ibérica (2007-2012), and he later offered diagnostic services as a swine technician at Esteve Veterinaria (2012-2015). Since 2015 he works as a field veterinarian for Grup Batallé.
