Josep Farreres Escuer

He obtained his degree in Veterinary Medicine from the Autonomous University of Barcelona in 1998. He is a specialist in pig production.

From 1998 to 1999 he worked as a veterinarian for Ganados Gili.

From 1999 to 2003 he worked in the sow department of Vall Companys (Lleida).

Since 2003 up to now he has worked in the Cooperative of Bellcaire as swine technical director, combining the tasks of a veterinarian and a salesman, advising their partners with respect to the technical and financial management of their farms.

He also participates in the Swine Health and Production Master degree teaching theoretic lessons to the students.
