Rene Brunthaler

Mag. Rene Brunthaler graduated in veterinary medicine in 2008. Since then he works as a scientific assistant at the Institute of Pathology and Forensic Veterinary Medicine at the University of Veterinary Medicine Vienna. His primary field is the processing and reporting of all kinds of incoming dead animals as well as development of scientific evidence and expert opinion. His main interest is swine pathology, especially livestock diseases with emphasis on respiratory diseases and he works in close contact with porcine practitioners. Furthermore he conducted tutorials and lectures in German and English for graduate and postgraduate students.
