Anesthetic

Anesthetics are substances with features that are similar to those of sedatives, but anesthetics are much more potent. Anesthetics are used on specific occasions, when the animal needs a surgical operation. Although the surgical operations are very unfrequent in a pig farm, in some cases they are necessary (the vasectomy of a boar, for instance).
