Mycotoxin

Mycotoxins are toxic substances, synthesized by some fungi, that can grow in feed, especially when they are stored (in the silos) under bad conditions (heat, high moisture, entrance of water, etc.). In animals and humans the effects of mycotoxins are very diverse and may include immunosuppression, reproductive, respiratory and digestive effects, among others.
