Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine and Surgery (BVMS), with specialization in Animal Husbandry/Production and Economics, from the University of Saragossa in 1980.

He carried out a specialization course on compound feedstuffs production taught by the Swiss Institute of Feed Technology in 1992.

The best professional training school is the one afforded by his colleagues and collaborators, technicians, sales agents and farmers, from whom he will never tire out learning.

Person in charge of the Nutrition Department in various companies. In chronological order and from 1981 to 1997: Inquifasa, Lafi, Bayer, Cyanamid Ibérica and Trouw Nutrition, and in different regions of Spain, including the Mediterranean area, the Atlantic area and the Central area.

In year 1997 he establishes Avena (Asesoría Veterinaria en Nutricion Animal [Animal Nutrition Veterinary Consultancy]), a company devoted to the advising with respect to animal nutrition. With this company he expects to offer a personalised and independent service.

He is the person in charge of the Nutrition Department in the pig production multidisciplinary team OPP (Optimal Pork Production), since 1998.

He has participated as a speaker in different national congresses.
