Biography: Dr. Janelle Fouhse is a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Alberta, Edmonton, Canada. She was born and raised in Saskatoon, SK, where she completed her bacelor’s degree in animal science and her M.Sc. in canine nutrition at the University of Saskatchewan in 2011. She recently finished her Ph.D. at the University of Alberta, focusing on the functional value of carbohydrates and their influence on gut microbiota in swine.
