Dr. Michael Rahe received his undergraduate degree and then DVM from Iowa State and concurrent Master of Public Health from the University of Iowa in 2013. He then attended graduate school at the University of Minnesota where he completed a PhD in porcine immunology under Mike Murtaugh in 2017 with a focus on the immune memory response to PRRSV. He then returned to Iowa State, in a cooperative anatomic pathology residency between the ISU VDL and the veterinary pathology department before becoming a clinical assistant professor within the Veterinary Diagnostic and Production Animal Medicine (VDPAM) department at Iowa State in May of 2019.
