PhD in Agricultural Engineering in Animal Nutrition from the Polytechnic University of Madrid and Degree in Veterinary Medicine from the Complutense University of Madrid. Post-Doctorate at the University of Nottingham (GB).

Technical Director of several national and international companies related to animal nutrition and poultry production. Currently he is the Technical Director of Trouw Nutrition Spain. He has been an associate professor of poultry and swine production at the Autonomous University of Barcelona and today he is the representative of Spain in the W.P.S.A. Working Group No. 2 and vice-president of FEDNA (Spanish Foundation for the Development of Animal Nutrition).

Author of several books and numerous scientific and extension articles in the field of animal nutrition, as well as guest speaker at numerous courses and events organized by universities, institutions and companies.
