Carmen Matas Parra is a university professor and teaches at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine. Her research is focused on reproductive physiology, mainly on aspects related to sperm functionality. She is currently working on sperm analysis and its relationship with reproductive fluids. At the same time, she is collaborating on using gene editing (CRISPR/CAS9) to get knock-out pigs.
